In this post last week I shared with you ten ways to build self care into your daily routine as we seek to establish our “new normal” while find ourselves with more time on our hands than previously. In that list I recommended taking some time to settle in with a good book to read or listen to, as many of us have had that reading list we just never seemed to have the time for. Books can bring so much to us, and with the right one it can feel like spending time with a friend. Reading (or listening) offers the opportunity to learn, be entertained, grow, gain insight and or to just relax and settle in with something that soothes our minds.
