10 Free Printable Quotes – Not Only for the Crafter
Surround yourself with positivity
We’ve all heard the familiar idea that what you dwell on will be what you manifest in your life, whether it’s beautiful and positive, negative and anxiety-inducing, or somewhere in the middle. During these times of rapidly shifting norms and uncertainty, however, being intentional about what we dwell on is easier said than done sometimes. While it may take a little more effort at times, these days certainly call for surrounding ourselves with reminders that we are resilient and that encouragement can be found in even the most simple places.
Now more than ever we need uplifting thoughts – and words – to help us recalibrate and find a “new normal” together. We are all adapting to the phenomenon of social distancing and need to find ways to feel grounded and motivated so that we can be inspired to carry on with our dreams and goals. What surrounds you visually is what your mind will tend to focus on, and what better way to encourage ourselves than with motivating quotes and reminders.
I’ve created this free download of printable quotes to encourage this wonderful community of sewists, quilters, and friends to do just that. Five of them are for “anyone,” and five are more craft-related. I’ve also created different formats for you…
Single jpegs that you can use as a screensaver for your mobile phone or your Instagram feed – or anywhere else you’re inspired to see some encouragement and motivation.
A letter-size file collage of 10 quotes – you can print it out on a sticker sheet, cut out the single stickers and use them to decorate your craft area, envelopes, gifts… Anywhere you’d want to see, or give, a nice reminder and something good for the day.
Jpegs in greeting card format – I love the idea of creating cards to send an extra special reminder to my friends and family to stay positive. Use for example the one below and send it with a scrap bag to a quilt-friend.
You could even print these quotes out in letter size and frame them to hang in your home or, again, to give as a wonderful, thoughtful gift to a friend you’d like to encourage.
