How to Style Your Living Room with Quilts

Decorating your couch and living room becomes easier if you match the colors from your quilts with your interior…

You may not realize it, but there might be one flaw to our hobby of sewing and quilting. Do you have any idea what that is? We end up with lots and lots of quilts! Every time, a new pattern or new collection is getting us excited and we start on yet another quilt. Especially now the fall and winter months are around the corner, we love to stay indoors and enjoy ourselves with needles, threads, fabrics, and patterns.

So many quilts

My friend, you’re not the only one. Quilters all around are having this luxury problem. But what can we do, right? Stopping sewing and quilting isn’t an option. So we start giving them away as a birthday present, wedding gift, or just because we love somebody.

However, there are quilts that we just wanna keep ourselves. And there is nothing wrong with that. You deserve to enjoy your pieces of art as much as anybody else. But how are we going to use them?

A great way is to style and decorate your living room with your most beautiful pieces. Just like I’ve done here with my quilt Twisted Geese.

The Twisted Geese pattern

By the way, this Zen Chic pattern is one of the most popular patterns in the shop. Haven’t made this beauty yet? That’s a shame. It really is such a nice piece. I even made a YouTube tutorial for it including the No Waste Technique. You can check it out and try it out yourself.

Here is the link to the shop if you wanna buy this fun pattern and try it out yourself

Styling your living room and couch with quilts

Ok, back to decorating your living room with all your beautiful quilts. There are a lot of different ways on how to style your quilts on a couch, behind the couch, and even on your ottoman. All People Quilt has made a little video on different ways to do so.

Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed that video and it gave you some ideas on how to show off your most beautiful quilts. Because it would be a shame to just keep them locked up in a closet!

Happy decorating!
