Free Pattern – Mini Charm Place Mats and Blockheads 2020, Block 9

A Mini Charm pack of Zen Chic’s Just Red fabric, some yardage and a free pattern are all you need for these sweet placemats.

Fresh and Fun for Your Dining Table

A table where meals are enjoyed is one of the most special and important places in a home in my opinion. It’s a space to relax, savor, share time and reflect on the day. Crafting unique accents to bring colorful charm to this mini sanctuary adds a wonderful element of intention and thought.

These sweet and simple placemats are a lovely way to bring that charming element to your table. They’re also a fun way to display the complementary and diverse tones of the JUST RED fabric collection. Taking an afternoon to sew a couple – or more – of these fresh and fun placemats is definitely time well to bring some color and charm to your family’s favorite place to share meals!

What makes these placemats even more endearing is that they are very easy to sew – even for a beginner. They only require one Mini Charm pack and a bit of yardage per placemat. Simply put the precut squares of the Mini Charm pack into strip sets and add them as a border to the yardage piece.

Check out the free pattern and tutorial here.
