A book full of unique, beautiful fat-quarter projects
If you’ve been following along with me here on the Zen Chic blog for a while, then you know that I contribute to a book series put out by Martingale, the Moda All-Stars series.
This series brings together well-known Moda designers to showcase their ideas in a sampler book based on a certain theme. We designers contribute our ideas at no cost as a way to support the charitable cause that benefits from the book, in this case, the Special Olympics.

Martingale has just released a new book in this series, called Two Four Six Eight Fat-Quarter Quilts You’ll Appreciate. And the theme this time? You guessed it!… using fat-quarters.
The task for us Moda designers was to design something based on either two, four, six or eight fat-quarters. The book is full of wonderful, unique projects like bags, wall hangings and of course quilts – including an adorable baby quilt.
