I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time and got something sewing fun from Santa? I'm right now in BlackForest, where I was born, celebrating these days together with my mom and my brother.

Hopefully these days leave you some time for sewing along with us in our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) project. Last week we presented Block 36. This week we move on with Block 37 hosted by Sherri McConnell.

Dreamy is a more time consuming block, so these days off are a great opportunity to catch up with our project.

You can really play around with this 18 " square block: Depending on where you place your most dominant fabric you can either enhance the linear grid of the block or the nine midpoints in the grid, or the four "squares" (the ones which are aqua in my block), or...

You can go totally clear and straight and place the fabric in a symmetrical order, or you can go scrappy...

I wonder how Sherri has made hers, she has such a cozy style, don't miss to see all her current blocks so far.
