“Joy” to all quilting friends
We have already gotten a third of all the free blocks in our quilt along from Fat Quarter Shop. But that doesn’t mean it’s too late to join. No way, you can hop along the quilting bus anytime. The more the merrier!

And there is something to say about having a few block patterns ready to go, don’t you think? What is more fun than getting your notions out on a winter evening, having a nice cup of your favorite beverage, and start on a beautiful new sampler quilt?
If you are waiting for the next block to be presented, you’re in the right place too. Because we have Susan Ache this week with a brand new block for us. She called her block Joy. A great name at this time a year, if you ask me. I bet it will give you lots of joy to make this one.
Susan is a very active Instagrammer with a large following on her account @yardgirl60. Besides quilting and sewing, she is an awesome cross stitcher as well. Plus Susan wrote a couple of quilting books herself besides contributing to books by other quilters. A versatile lady for sure.
I made this block in the Spotted fabric Teal and More Paper fabric Silver White XOXO. It’s such a nice combo and that teal color is fabulous in my opinion.
