Easy to follow tutorial for a stylish set of DIY zippered pouches
You can never have enough pouches, do you? And this
Set of Quilted Zipper Pouches
looks great with their quilted finish, is a fun weekend project, looks chic and you'll love to have them around! So much, so that you will sew much more to give to your friends. These little friends need a couple of skills, like quilting, and sewing a zipper. So by making the set you will train these skills on a small level, where it stays still a doable fun.
Step by Step tutorial
To make it easy for you there is a great tutorial from PURL SOHO showing you all the fabric requirements and steps to make these handy companions.
For our blog post, Amaya made us a set of three and they are featuring my low volume line EVEN MORE PAPER. Amaya has already made a couple of projects for us and you can find more of her on her Instagram feed @amuceta.
The sweet pouches are spiced up with cute little labels, in this case here sewing related. And the surface is quilted with straight lines in a cross-weave pattern, which you can easily do on your domestic machine.
So these pouches would be great for carrying around little hexagon projects, or store your rotary cutter with some extra blades, or having all your sewing markers and measuring tapes together. I'm sure you'll find more ideas.
They would be also great for storing different things while you travel as your make-up and your charging cables, your passport, and your travel papers.
Or store some sweets and snacks inside (maybe the special ones for your grandchildren).
This brings me back to: you can never have enough pouches, do you?
