“Graciously” Dizzy
Another week and another block in Fat Quarter Shop’s Quilt Along, Sewcialites. Are you ready?
We’re getting closer and closer to the Holiday season. The weeks go by so fast, sometimes it’s all making me a bit dizzy. And I had that same feeling for a moment when I first saw this week’s block for our Quilt Along. It reminded me of that wheel that goes round and round on those Carnaval fairs, you know what I mean? The one that gets you all hypnotized?
Well, this block, luckily isn’t a round one. The square is giving it some kind of flair I guess. Some kind of grace. And maybe that’s why the designer, Vanessa Christenson called the block Gracious Block.
When you see Vanessa’s quilts, you instantly see that she loves color. Her quilts are bright and they make you all happy inside. Vanessa’s patterns range from quilts to bags and zipper pouches. She even has a strawberry shortcake that you can sew. I guess you can say that Vanessa from V. and Co is one versatile lady!
