When I was working on the fabric designs for White Christmas, I was also cooperating with Aurifil on a new curated designer thread box.

This box is filled with 12 spools of premium cotton thread, 50wt, 1300 yards per spool. The color range is very basic, something you will use on and on: Whites, Greys, Black, Tans - wonderful neutral shades. In addition a bit of a golden yellow for top stitching or accentuating. And some great variegated threads to make quilting more fun.

Howdy fabric panel and collection by Stacy Iest Hsu

Last week's block #6 was hosted by a traditional quilter; so this week we hop over to a modern blog for a bit of inspiration and visit Stacy Iest Hsu (boy, did I have a hard time to write that name by only hearing it :-) ).
Stacy is a young Moda fabric designer and her personal speciality are all kind of fabric dolls (too cute, baby!!) The adorable cowboy on the right is from her collection HOWDY for Moda and she has several youtube videos on how to sew them. Stacy will be your host for Block #7 in our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) quilt along.
