Zen Chic 2022 Pluses Quilt Along - Week 2
We are in the second week of our Plusses Quilt Along. So far we have looked at the different sizes you can make, like the bed quilt size, a lap size quilt, and the baby size.
Furthermore, we talked about the fabrics that you can use. Will it be fabrics from your stash? Or you use a Layer Cake or an assortment of Fat Quarters. I’m curious what your fabric choice is.
In this free Pluses quilt along, we'll be using Celestial by Zen Chic. We've chosen this fabric because it's so soft and dreamy, and its colors are so vibrant. This is the perfect fabric to create an eye-catching quilt that's also extremely cozy.
Have you tried the Recolor app to color plan your quilt layout? Did you find it useful?
I'm loving it. It's so cool to be able to see how the colors work together and get an idea of how much fabric I need for each section.

Week 2 - Cutting our fabrics
This week it's time to get out your scissors or rotary cutters. You're going to cut your fabrics! But before you do that, participants learn about the cutting charts in the bonus material and how to organize everything neatly. In a special video, I'm going to show you how, so that when you're done cutting your fabrics, your quilt will be perfect when it's complete.
And I can promise - this video will be fun with that special guest doing all my work... So it is really worth signing up for our free quilt along to get all the good stuff.
