Fun, functional and versatile… These drawstring bags have it all!
You know what you can never have too many of? Bags! Especially ones created with care and using a beautiful, durable fabric like Mochi Linen from the BREEZE collection. Good bags come in handy for so many things – shoes (which is so nice when you’re traveling!), laundry when you’re on the road, things in the kitchen like fruits and veggies that you want to store in a cool, dry, place; knitting or crocheting projects; or just for fun things you want to keep together!
And, a fabric like Mochi Linen is simply delightful for a project like this. With the soothing, chic appeal of cool, crisp colors on a neutral sand background and a thicker, stiffer texture, this fabric is perfect for so many different kinds of projects – like this apron, this fanny pack and these pencil pouches. The possibilities are endless!
These bags were sewn by Yvonne Aumannm, you can find her on Instagram a @phiundlu!
Yvonne made these bags in three different sizes, using three different Mochi Linen prints. The upper edge, including the string, is made from a contrasting SPOTTED fabric. This pattern and tutorial are so easy and simple, even for a beginner!
