Dots On Point Quilt Sew Along Week 2
Quilters, gather 'round the pointillism palette! I bring exciting news. We've successfully dotted our i's in Week 1 with fabric selection, and now we're stepping into Week 2 of the Dots on Point Quilt Sew Along.
Buddies, this requires patience and precision, but I have faith in each of you because you possess these skills. Will we encounter fresh challenges? Most definitely. Will we need to troubleshoot on the spot? Absolutely. But will we succeed? Without a doubt. Together, we will stitch our way and master each step with our Dots on Point masterpieces! Are you in?
I'm all fired up, but if you're discovering this Sew Along for the first time, here are a few things you should know:
NO Sign-up: You don't need to sign up for Zen Chic Sew Alongs. You simply sew along with us! Sewing Questions: You have questions, we have answers! The best place to ask your technical sewing questions is in our Zen Chic Dots On Point Facebook group. The primary purpose of Sew Alongs is to answer questions that specifically arise when making the Dots on Point pattern, so don't worry about asking a "silly" question. There's no such thing!

Fabric Cutting Essentials for Week 2
To prepare your fabric for the Dots On Point Quilt, you don't need necessarily any specific rulers or supplies. However, there are so much handy tools out there that can make the process of sewing this quilt more pleasurable. Here is a list of my essential supplies, a circle cutter (I will use mine in week 3) is really great to have.

Our first task is to tackle the solid background fabrics. Picture this: each small square will soon play host to a dazzling dot, appliqued with precision and love. You can think of them as little stages, ready for their star – the Dot!

Your Instagram profile needs to be public in order to participate.
Each picture you post is an entry and there's no limit to how many times you can enter in a single week. Keep in mind that the entries don't carry over to the next week. Each week is a new opportunity.
