BLOCK 14
FIDGET SPINNER
Last week's Block 13 was a nice romantic and modern one, called Patchwork Flower. This month will be very busy, since we introduce more than one block per week for our Moda Blockheads 2018 (Round 2) project in September. No worries, most blocks are very easy to sew and so you won't have any troubles to keep up with everybody.
First we will have Fidget Spinner by Lynne Hagmeier.
Block 14, Fidget Spinner
You can achieve a kind of dramatic look with this 6" block just by color placement.

BLOCK 15
CORNER POCKET
Corner Pocket is pretty easy to sew. But believe me: We will need a lot of simple blocks (also simple in color placement) for our large sampler quilt. Since if you place too much busy blocks next to each other, your eye has no chance to rest for a while and gets dizzy. So I'd recommend to deliberately make some very simple, nearly plain blocks too. Corner Pocket by Barbara Groves of Me and My Sister will be a great block for going simple.
