We are in the second week of our Spring in Paris Quilt Along. So far we have looked at the different sizes you can make, like the regular quilt size, a baby quilt, and the Queen size.
Furthermore, we talked about the fabrics that you can use. Will it be fabrics from your stash? Maybe you still have that one Fat Eighth Bundle waiting for the perfect project. Or will it be the new Dance in Paris collection? I’m curious what your fabric choice is.
This week we will finally start cutting our fabrics…
The QAL on Instagram
It is so much fun seeing all the photos shared on Instagram from the quilters who are participating. They use the hashtag #springinparisqal. Let’s take a look at some of the photos
People are sharing which fabrics they are going to use, what size they are going to make, and just overall sharing that they are in on the Quilt Along.
When you do share your progress on Instagram using the hashtag, you are in for the draw of an awesome prize by one of our sponsors. Who doesn’t want to win some quilting goodies?
Prizes to win!
This week, Heather (@quiltbrarian) wins a Layer Cake from the Dance in Paris collection. It was sponsored by Moda Fabrics. Congratulations, Heather!
For next we found Aurifil to be so generous to give away a thread bundle. As you know with sewing and quilting you can never have enough thread. So this is a prize every quilter can use, am I right?
Join the free Quilt Along too
If you wanna win this great bundle, come join us in this Quilt Along. It is not too late to jump in. Besides, in every newsletter we share a list with links to the former newsletters, so you can always catch up.
What are you waiting for?! You don’t wanna miss out!
